Baby Massage instruction

Massage has lots of physical benefits; for babies it can play a vital role in circulation, digestion and growth. Using simple to learn techniques you can ease the symptoms of colds, colic and teething.

Massage can also help babies who are premature and those with disabilities too, improving muscle tone and stimulating growth hormones.

Bonding with your baby doesn't always happen easily and can take time. The bonding process can be encouraged through touch, spending quality time together and through the use of eye-to-eye contact with your baby. Baby massage can play a central role in this process especially if you've struggled due to postnatal depression, an early baby or experienced medical problems.

Massage is also an excellent thing for dad to learn too, especially if mum is breast feeding and he feels left out.

A short course of instruction is offered in the ‘simple to learn’ techniques of massaging your baby.  Group, individual and couples instruction is available.  Try it and you'll soon discover what other cultures have known for many years; just how natural it feels to interact with your baby in this way.
